Botanical & Ceremonial Context

Usucha is the most common form of ceremonial matcha served in modern tea houses. Prepared with 2.0 grams of sifted matcha and 70ml of hot water at 75°C–80°C, it is whisked vigorously into an abundant micro-froth with delicate floral, vegetal, and sweet umami nuances.
